In hospital isolation
I am apparently not alone.
Words of support
roll down the screen.
I am almost breathless from emotion.
Liquid crystals in my eyes,
rain in my lungs, too.
Even the earth could not drink in more water.
My picture, the last,
where my face
is a waterpark
(transparent tubes for toboggans
come out of my nose,
others sink into my veins)
will be forever current –
if I dare
and have the strength
to lift a finger
to post it.
