Maxim Zamshev was born in Moscow in 1972.Graduated Gorky’s Literary Institute, where he studied at the seminar of a famous poet Vladimir Firsov. Since 2000 Maxim Zamshev works at the Moscow City Organization of Union of Russian Writers. At the present he is The First Secretary of the Organization. Since 2004 – Editor in Chief of “Rossijsky Kolokol”, literary magazine. Maxim Zamshev has more than 1000 publications of different genres in Russia and abroad. His poems and novels have been translated to Bulgarian, Serbian, French, Turkish, Spanish and Nepal languages. In 2008 by Presidential Edict he was awarded a medal of an order of “Merits For the Motherland” of the II Degree. He also has government awards.
