Vadik Barrón was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1976. As a child he moved to Bolivia, where he became a self-made artist, and has been member of several artistic groups, related with theatre, music and literature. He is also a composer, singer and guitar player. As a poet, he has published two collections “Cuaderno Rojo” (Red Notebook, 2002) and “iPoem” (2008). He has collaborated with different cultural publishings in Latin America. He has participated in several poetry festivals in Latin America. In the 2009, his book “Rocanrol y Canciones del Future” (Rock ’n Roll and Songs from the Future) became finalist of the “Concurso Nacional de Poesía Yolanda Bedregal”, the most prestigious poetry contest in Bolivia.
