Elena Prendjova is a poet, a slam poet and a poetry translator from Macedonia. She holds an M.A. in Philology Science and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. She works as an EFL and ESP teacher. Prendjova mentors creative writing and poetry slam workshops. Prendjova is the author of 9 full-length poetry collections. Prendjova has organised and co-organised poetry-slam events and competitions since 2013 and was the 2016 national representative at the European Slampionship. She was a grantee of the 2021 READ Residency Program in Belgrade, Serbia and the 2019 i-Portunus and Creative Europe performing arts residency in Tartu, Estonia and Maribor, Slovenia where she mentored poetry slam workshops and where she took part in slam performance shows. In 2015 she was granted the TRADUKI and Reading Balkans Literary Residency Program in Tirana, Albania.
