Poets

Milcho Misoski was born in Struga, 1972 in the Republic of North Macedonia. He graduated at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, specialist microbiologist, primaries, master of medical sciences.

Author of the poetry collections: 

“Waiting for the Angel“(1992),“Waiting for the Angel” (2019) – second edition in English translation, “Notes”(2013), “Cheated time”(2016), “Sand drops” (2017), Glass shadows (2020), Ephemids (2022).

His poetry is represented in the anthologies; “Poets from Struga” (2001) published by SVP ,”Give two loves” (2015) and “No verse, no peace” (2017) Antholog.

He publishes poetry in several magazines (Bridges, Echoes etc.) on the former SFRY area, as well as Actuality, Pivot, Growth. 

Active participant in the International Poetry Manifestation “100 Thousands Poets for Change”- Strumica (2018-2022). His poetry has been translated into Serbian – Croatian, Bulgarian and English.

Winner of many poetry awards: Ratkovikјevi Poetry Evenings, Bjelo Polje (Montenegro) 1989 awarded for a poetry collection by a young author.

His first poetry collection “Waiting for the Angel” 1992 was declared the best poetry collection at the Contest of Literary Youth of Macedonia.
